Heroes for Cystic Fibrosis is a day of table top role-playing to raise money and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. The event was created by Jeremy and Tonya Hall, in an attempt to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. Our friends at The Devil’s Bench (436 Colborne St. East, Brantford Ontario) have been the event’s gracious hosts since its inception. To date the annual event has raised more than $10,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Our next event will be held in the spring of 2019.

What is it?
Heroes for Cystic Fibrosis is a day long Dungeons & Dragons marathon. Each player raises money by collecting pledges for Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Players are rewarded for their fundraising efforts by earning in game rewards to bolster their characters and by earning keys to our treasure chest, full of games, dice and goodies.
Why Cystic Fibrosis?
Our daughter Avril, has Cystic Fibrosis (CF). She was born with many complications because of CF and spent the first 8 months of her life in McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic terminal condition, but more and more children are living into adulthood, thanks to advances in research. The money we raise supports research into technologies and therapies to extend and better people’s lives.
How do I get involved?
If you’re in the Brantford area stop by The Devil’s Bench (436 Colborne St. East, Brantford Ontario) and register. If you’re outside the area, but wish to attend the event simply contact us at email@example.com and we will get you registered via email.
How long is the event?
The event opens at 9:30am and runs until 8:30pm. We take a lunch break and a dinner break. Pizza will be supplied for all of our fundraisers at the dinner break.
